The Many Paths of Faery expresses a co-creative vision and partnership between Storm Faerywolf, Susan Diamond, Orion Foxwood, Shimmering Wolf, and honored guests. This year's honored guest is the world-renowned author and speaker RJ Stewart.
Our vision is as follows: To create and uphold a community forum that honors the diverse expressions of human interaction with the invisible and intra-visible dimensions and denizens of Earth and her inner-er life, often referred to as Faery, Fairy, Feri, the Sidhe, the Seelie/Unseelie Courts, the Y Tylwyth Teg and other names in many cultures.
An Ancestral Vision of Co-creation, Co-existence, and Communionity
The wisdom of the ancient cultures in what can be best called “the original instructions” knew that we must maintain beliefs, practices, rituals that keep us in a healthy and balanced reciprocal relationship with the more intimate or subtle side of nature and the expressed physical part. They have left instructions for that in ballads, wisdom traditions, sacred poems and lore passed down to us. MPF invites and celebrates ancient and contemporary approaches to this.
This ancient wisdom guiding contemporary practices can help us re-sacredize our relationship to the earth and her life. There is a sense of urgency for many people as we observe the damage our illusion of separateness from nature has caused. So the concepts of eco-spirituality, animism and sacred nature are the philosophical fuel in the engine of MPF which is at once:
★ A Gathering of like-minded and co-creative humans (and other);
★ An Educational opportunity for all in attendance;
★ A Celebration of sacred nature, earth, and a healthier more prosperous life for all;
★ A skills-building event for Integrating the insights and skills offered;
★ An Immersion Experience for affirming conscious and considerate co-creation and
restoration of life on earth.
In keeping with many folkloric and indigenous cultures, MPF holds true that a core key to humanity avoiding
* a) escalating catastrophic natural disaster;
* b) irrevocable damage, destruction and depletion of natural and energy resources;
* c) potential world-war; and,
* d) a predicted oncoming human-caused extinction event is in re-establishing a global culture that considerate, compassionate, communal, coexistent and co-creative with its shared life (human and other).
